At New Horizons we are committed to providing services to our targeted population of individuals with developmental disabilities, addictive disorders and mental illness. We believe in the concept of right servicing consumers with therapies and programs with evidence-based benefits. To this end, we utilize a continuum of programs, comprehensive pharmacological therapies, a level of care system and multimodal therapies with emphasis, on assisting our 
consumers, in enhancing internal motivation for achieving and maintaining maximum psychological functioning and or recovery.

These programs range from the least restrictive outpatient medication clinic to the more intensive medically managed intensive group home. We attempt to match each consumer with the most appropriate services and will, in some cases, offer an individualized compliment of services when the consumer is not ready to accept the most appropriate service. We will continue to work with the consumer in accepting the appropriate level of services. As a last resort, we consider mandated treatment when the individual’s safety or the safety of others is at risk.
